Bad News about Sunday

Hi All,

My son Michael and I have had a real blast in our foray back into WHFB the last six weeks, due in no small part to the excellent quality and characters of so many of our fellow players, even the Dark Elf ones. I would like to offer special thanks to Davis and Travis for their work in putting this all together and maintaining the course, and to Paul for his work on the Juniors mini-campaign. After the sweet carnage of the past two months I have to say I am pretty pumped for the upcoming map-based campaign in January.

Unfortunately, Michael and I will be unable to attend the Awards Ceremonies and Mega-Battle this Sunday due to family holiday commitments, but we wish all attendees a grand time. Except the Druchii, on whom we wish a embarrassing trampling underfoot.

My congratulations to all the award winners beforehand.

And I offer the first post-campaign challenge: This one goes out to Keith, whom I never had a chance to play against (and who I suspect garnered 1st Place in our league). Any free Tuesday nights in the near future, Keith? My High Elves would love to invade Lustria for an evening...

Hey Mike,

I am sorry to hear that you will not be joining us tomorrow, but I promise that my 5000 points of Lizards will spill as much Druchii blood as they possibly can.

In terms of your post-campaign challenge, I am available this Tuesday (the earlier the better as I have a flight Wednesday morning). What points value were you thinking? I have 2500, 3000 and as of last night 5000 point armies all ready to go.

I was unable to attend and had to work later in the afternoon. I really enjoyed the games and especially enjoyed the Junior league. I hope we can have anther one of those with some more players that have voiced an interest.
