Hi Travis: Dystopian Wars looks very interesting. When do you guys get together & play?
I'd like to check it out.

Best regards,

Hey Greg,

The pot is still simmering on DW for the moment; the local group put together a lot of good ideas but then the Holidays hit and it's been the usual calamity around here ever since!

That being said, it looks like we're going to be focusing primarily on Naval and Air battles for the moment, and we'll be organizing a day to get the crew together for some games soon, so stay tuned!

Seeking Dystopian Wars players.
I have my Prussian Squadron Almost painted. (Base Squadron)
I also have the FSA Starter Squadron. Not painted.
My models are work in progress, but I'd love to get in a game with other players.

Happy New Year!

Spartan Games has updated the Dystopian Wars rulebook. This is not v2 of the rules, but rather collected changes that modify the original rulebook and will be found in the next printing. You can get the changes for free via download from the Spartan Games website here -

http://www.spartangames.co.uk/resources/downloads

Expand the Dystopian Wars area and grab the five downloads at the bottom in the Master Rulebook Updates section.

Changes include - and you'd better sit down because I know that this will come as a shock to you - real guidelines for setting up a game and determining victory conditions.

Ok gang, just a note to let everyone know that DW is still on the docket, in fact it's getting closer and closer!

I've got a big bucket of blue paint (thanks, OSH leftovers bin!!) and will be turning a number of our boards into big blue seas on one side!

What night do you guys think you might be able to come in?? Tuesdays or Wednesdays would be awesome to get the ball rolling...

Let me know!

I've been playing C&C Ancients on Wednesdays recently, but really either night is fine.

Just picked up the FSA Naval Carrier. The miniature is so pretty ...

... now I can't wait to pick up the Naval Starter Box and play! Blaaarrgh!

That intro battle on Sunday was fun. Thanks for the game Kyle!
(Though the unexpedectedness of the 'exploding dice' wasn't too favourable to Kyle, :/...)

Hopefully, by next Sunday, I'll have the replacements for missing ships come in the mail.

Looking forward for more games towards the evening time.

Hello!

Are people still playing Dystopian Wars at Game Empire? I've checked a couple other stores and haven't had any luck... I moved to LA about a year ago and only recently got around to getting my fleet mailed to me. I've only played two or three games, with a friend from back home, and we were both learning as we went. Game seems pretty fun, I'd like to play more! What days, if any, do people play?
