Flames of War - Firestorm: Tunisia Campaign

This is a Firestorm campaign where battles affect the campaign map and the fate of North Africa in 1943. Recreate the battles in Tunisia and change the course of history! The campaign is five turns, with battles for one turn played each week beginning April 14. Players participate as a member of the Allied British or US forces, or choose to take command of Axis forces, and command German Panzers or the Italians. Once selected players play a game of Cat & Mouse on the map to seize vital supply lines, encircle opposing players units all while others are attempting the same. So collect your forces, and battle it out in the deserts of North Africa for fame, glory, and prizes.



Forces from any v4 Mid War book allowed



71 points Main Force + 38 points Firestorm Force*
Command cards allowed


There are player commendations and awards!


Start time is 10:30 am, no time limit on games. Match-ups made at start time.


* Spend 38 points and buy a minimum of 3 units. Each unit must be legal choice for your force and may not cost more than 29 points. Only one of your units may consist of fully-tracked tanks teams. Each mission you will have the ability to field 1 or 2 of your support units, determined at random.

The campaign needs a general for each side. Generals roll initiative dice, choose the battles on the map, assign commanders to game matchups, and make all map moves. Requires a couple of hours during the week between games via email to do turn maintenance. Let me know if you are interested.

I can play one day a week. I will not be able to play every Saturday
I am willing to work with my opponents to play on alternate evenings
I enjoy playing win or lose

71 points for base force plus 46 points for Firestorm Support Pool.

To build the Firestorm Support Pool, spend 46 points to purchase at least four units using the following rules:
1. All choices must be legal choices as support or combat units for one of your formations as if you were simply increasing your force point total. Your support pool as a whole does not need to be a legal formation by itself, only the individual unit choices do.
2. A maximum of two units may be Allied Support choices.
3. No unit may cost more than 29 points.
4. Only one unit may consist of tank teams with front armor of 5 or greater. This is designated your “Tank Support” unit.
5. Only one other unit may consist of tank teams with front armor of 3 or greater.
6. Independent teams such as an OP must be assigned to one of your support units and are deployed only with that unit.
7. Command Cards may not be purchased as part of your support pool
