Die Macher is a classic game of modern German politics, where players are political parties contesting elections in various German states. Factors the players have to deal with include their party platform and its relation to state and national opinions, opinion polls, control of the media, recruiting grassroots activists to drum up votes, and more. It was the very first game entered into Boardgamegeek's database.
It's best with 4-5 players and I'll be bringing my copy to the store tomorrow (3/23). Hopefully some of you would enjoy playing! If tomorrow isn't a good night, I can of course bring it at other times.
