I'm hoping to get a game of DVE together this Wednesday, and I'm looking for interested folks. Already got two players, hoping for 1-3 more.
The game does need a substantial time investment as Euros go -- figure about 2 1/2-3 hours. For weight and complexity, the best comparison I can think of would be Reef Encounter. On the other hand, it's a cool and beautiful game by a designer who never gets the love he deserves, Mario Papini.
I know some Wednesday night regulars have heard me rave about this. This game landed on my "must have" list literally the moment I heard of it, and this BGG post explains why.
