*edit* Added Terrain and Army List sections, cleaned up the punctuation a bit, codified the section on Model Rules, Stats, and FAQs.

I just finished moving to Pasadena this weekend so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it out for this league tonight.

No special characters means I can't bring my all mounted lizardman Kroq'gar army I've been working on! You can't take him in games under 2550 points in 8th so he wouldn't be able to show up for this league anyways. I'll be looking forward to playing some fantasy games soon.

If you can't make it tonight, there's another meeting on Sunday (which is also when the league officially begins, so that works out too!)

We'll be discussing some league aspects tonight, which includes at what point we might be allowing special characters, so stay tuned.

I should be able to make it Sunday, I couldn't find what time it was going to be around. Any ideas?

I'll bring a 1500 point list with me Sunday if anyone wanted to get a game in.

I agree, no special characters. It doesn't go with the theme of lets have fun and stay clear of the power lists. Personally, I want to march some undead head on into your armies, but alas, we undead are not allowed to march move, so bring your missiles and we'll have a blast scooping shovel loads of skeletons off the 4x6.

The consensus at the meeting on Tuesday was generally against special characters, so we'll probably be steering clear of them this time around.

That being said, I do want to mix things up in one of the later weeks; Zach and I talked about the possibility of a 2v2 team battle week... pick a partner from an amenable faction (evil chaos/daemons/vampires/etc, good high elves/wood elves/dwarfs/etc.) and duke it out over a larger table against another team. And I like the sound of that, so we'll see what the group thinks.

I love the idea of a 2v2 battle! I actually just love big battles over all haha. More points the better!

I swear, if I had a re-rollable 2 up ward....I would still fail it.

*edit* Added basic campaign scoring (whoops! Sorry!), modified gameplay section; players may not play the same player twice during the campaign, as opposed to the previous rule that you may not play the same player twice in a row. Davis raised an excellent point that with 21 players, no one should have too much trouble finding opponents! I was inclined to agree, so the fix is in!
